Welcome to the Indianapolis Chapter of the Armor Modeling and Preservation Society
- What's new
- April 14, 2008 - Well, AMPS is finally over... let the detox begin! Our club had a great time this year. A huge thanks
to all the AMPS crew and WWII Victory Museum staff who made this a fantastic show. I'm proud to say our club represented!
Big congratulations to Neil Imel (1 Gold and 2 Silvers),
Vic Russell (2 Golds), and Scott Woodward (1 Bronze and a missing score sheet on his T-35...). I will hopefully be adding new
images to their galleries soon.
- April 14, 2008 - Photo highlights from the AMPS show have been added to the website. They can be found here.

- March 18, 2008 - Added photos from last summer's WWII Days to the
Walk Arounds page
- March 18, 2008 - Revised vehicle Walk Arounds. They're now on their own page and vehicles are listed by era and type. Check it out:
Walk Arounds

- March 3, 2008 - Congratulations to Allan Hoffman and our newest member Scott Woodward for their well deserved awards at the recent IPMS Roscoe Turner show! Allan won a 2nd place for his 1/72 M1A1. Scott won both a 1st place
for his M8 Greyhound and a 'Commended' for his T-35. The Gallery has been updated with these as well as 5 new models from Vic Russell (including
the smallest armored car model I've ever seen), and Mike Kalbfleisch's extensivley detailed M-26 'Pershing'.

- Feb 21, 2008 - We now have our first reference gallery in the Articles section.
Erik Fox provided images from a trip to the Patton Museum. Thanks Erik!

- Older news
Formed in September of 2007, our roster currently includes 20 members. We meet on the first Saturday
of each month at 2pm. Meetings are held at the Greenwood Hobbytown USA
who have graciously made their back room available. For those unable to make the Saturday meeting, we've started holding
6pm meetings on the first Tuesday of the month as well.
We're a pretty laid back group so if you're interested
in armor modeling please join us. Membership in AMPS is not required.
